Rock Chip Repair

  • I will fill any repairable rock chip with a high quality resin that exceeds industry standards. What is an “unrepairable” rock chip? Any chip that exceeds the size of a quarter or if the location of the damage is on the edge of the glass. Estimated time per repair is 20 minutes.

  • $45 — For vehicles that are not insured or for those who choose to not go through their insurance. Each additional rock chip repair is $30

    $0 — Free for insured vehicles. I do charge for the cost of the service upfront and will give you a receipt to send to your insurance provider for full reimbursement

Crack Repair

  • I will repair cracks up to 14'“ in length. I also use a resin that is 34% stronger than what most other repair businesses offer. Why is this important? Windshields provide up to 45% of the structure of the vehicle cabin. Using an inferior product weakens the windshield’s overall strength and could be a safety risk.

    Estimated time for repair is 25-45 minutes. The time will depend heavily on the size of the crack.

    What cracks are “unrepairable”?

    -Cracks that touch more than one side of the windshield

    -Cracks that split more than 3 ways

    -Cracks that are over 14” in length

  • $70— For cracks up to 7” in length

    $80— For cracks over 7” in length

Headlight Restoration

  • This professional service includes cleaning, sanding, and applying a UV-cured hard coat similar to what the manufacturers use so your headlights will be clear for years and not just months. Estimated time for service is 30 minutes.

  • $75— Standard price for the whole service.

    $40— Price when bundled with a crack or rock chip repair of same vehicle

 FAQs

  • The average time to repair a rock chip is approximately 15 minutes.

    A crack will take about 5 minutes per inch

    Headlight restoration typically takes 30 minutes

  • Yes. As long as the crack does not touch two edges of the windshield, is under 14 inches in length, and does not split more than 3 ways

  • I proudly stand by my work so If your rock chip spreads, let me know. I will repair the additional damage at no extra cost to you. Please let me know right away while it is still repairable. If it passes that point, the warranty is void and I will not replace the windshield nor pay a shop to replace it.

  • All windshield repairs require a dry surface and zero moisture in the crack or chip. If the vehicle has been kept out of the rain and the damaged area is 100% moisture free, repairs can be made. It is highly recommended the windshield has been kept dry for at least one full day prior to service.

  • The following situations cannot be repaired:

    • A chip larger than a quarter in size

    • A crack longer than 14”

    • A crack that splits more than 3 times

    • A crack that touches more than one edge of the glass

    • If debris is stuck in the crack

    • Stress cracks (cracks that start from the edge of the windshield and were not started by an impact)
